When you sign up, I collect your email address. I use it to send you a login code and occasional service-related messages. I never use it for marketing without your explicit consent. You may also choose to add a display name and profile photo, which are visible to users you interact with.
Videos, notes, tags, city, teacher names, and recording dates that you add to your library. This data is stored so you can access and practice your choreographies.
Basic technical data to keep the service running: login timestamps, error logs, and feature usage patterns. This is not sold or shared with third parties.
If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by Stripe. I do not store your card details — Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy. I store only your subscription status and billing period.
I use the following third-party services to operate Choreo Buddy. Each acts as a data processor under my instructions.
I do not sell your data. I do not use it for advertising.
When you share a choreo with another user, that user receives a copy of the choreo's metadata and access to the video. Their copy remains in their library even if you later stop sharing or delete the original — though the video will no longer be playable if you delete it.
You control what you share and can revoke active share links at any time.
I keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your videos are removed from my servers and your personal data is deleted within 30 days. Anonymised, non-identifiable usage data may be retained for service improvement.
Shared copies of your content held by other users are tombstoned — the video is removed but the metadata shell remains in their library.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Choreo Buddy uses browser local storage to keep you logged in and to cache your library for offline use. I do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
Choreo Buddy is not intended for people under 18. I do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact me at contact@choreobuddy.com.
I may update this policy from time to time. I'll notify you by email for material changes. The current version is always available at choreobuddy.com/privacy.
